Arrived Bacolod and took a ferry from Bacolod to Ilo Ilo. Oh this is nightmare, The ferry was so small and over loaded, Plus the weather wasn't really cooperating that time, So made myself sick while on the boat, But I did survived, Thankfully :)
Arrived Ilo- Ilo took a jeepney from the port to the bus terminal, for only 8 pesos they will bring you to the Tagbak Terminal, But I realized I would not be able to get to Caticlan on time so I told the jeepney driver to just bring me to the nearest pensione house to sleep for a night,In the morning took a bus from Ilo Ilo to Caticlan. Lucky enough found a friend that is heading to Boracay as well, So it made my long bus journey from Ilo Ilo to Caticlan more Interesting and enjoyable. It was a long 6 hours journey. But then again the views outside is beautiful.
Finally Arrived Caticlan, Bought my ticket for ferry, They called it Pambot, Its only 25 pesos but you have to pay terminal fee, 50 Php and Environmental fee which is 75 pesos, so that is around 150 pesos all in all.Ferry ride took 20 minutes, wasnt that far. So finally arrived Boracay, I spent 4 days in this beautiful Island, Would I do the land Travel again? probably not,Ill tell you it was really risky, and tiring, but if you are up for an adventure, then why not?
I Decide to just fly on my way back home could not do that long trip again.lol
