Cheap Get away from Manila -Puerto Galera.

Talking about beach in the philippines, Well we have thousand of them, And one of that is puerto galera, Which is not that far from Manila,This Beautiful Island Attracts many tourist due to its beautiful white sand beaches, I got the chance to see this island for the first time although it wasnt plan, But since they said it wasn't that far from manila so why not give it a try,Ive been to different beaches in the philippines specially boracay, and honestly speaking you might find it weird but i'm not really fan on beach, I enjoyed exploring forest and mountains more. lol

So how to get there? 
Plenty of choices,You can go via private van from Manila, Or you can hop on the bus from the bus station in Manila heading to batangas port.
I took a bus via jam liner from pasay Buendia bus cost only 169 pesos one way,Its aircon and very comfortable seats with wifi and Movies. So it was not a bad ride.
It took me around 3 hours ride from Pasay to Batangas,  Don't go out on the first stop, Wait for the second stop and thats the Batangas port, Look for Ferry either going to Sabang or Puerto Galera Itself, Puerto Galera where you can find the white beach and Sabang is on the other side but they are both in the same Island. I was ask where to go is it Sabang or Puerto Galera, I havent search that so i ask her what's the difference? She said they are actually in the same island its either of both, So I said maybe Sabang, As the guy infront of me Sabang. lol, So the ferry cost around 230 pesos and 30 pesos terminal fee, plus 50 pesos environmental fee, And oh, It was announce boarding of our ferry and i haven't paid my terminal fee yet as it located on the other side, So the man approach me, and he will be the one to pay for it, I ask him how much, He said its 60 pesos, I didn't not realized it was actually only 30 pesos, Lucky day for that man.lol

Anyway it took us almost 2 hours ferry ride from batangas to Sabang, The weather wasn't good at that time so we had a rough ride, I got headache when we arrived,
Oh fancy not booking hotel ahead,So it took me hours looking for vacant hotel around sabang, and I could not find any, They are all fully booked that time. So I thought'' OMG '' I might sleeping in the sand this time. Finally I ended up to Garden of Eden Resort, They have vacant room and its 3800/Night oh that is not my budget, Its too much for me, But I have no choice, and they don't even have free wifi and breakfast, Although its beautiful resort the room is clean, But don't have TV. Anyway doesn't matter really i wont be staying much inside my room anyway, But I wish they even put small TV inside the room, or provide free wifi. They have wifi available but 200 pesos per day. Ridiculous, So I found out the foods and stuff around the Island can be quite expensive. Oh poor me. But they actually have some BBQ around which not that bad really,.
In the morning i tried to find the white beach but I couldn't find it and i realized i was not in the right place, and the white beach is an hour ride, its in the other side of the Island, I wasn't told at all, So I booked in the wrong place, Although Sabang its not that bad at all.So Stayed for 2 nights, I enjoyed my weekend.
