Cheap Weekend Getaway from Manila.- Tagaytay

Tagaytay at my back is the taal Volcano

So are you planning to take weekend break away from stress due to your job, Tagaytay is perfect place to unwind, Tagaytay has many things to offer, Its indeed a perfect place for weekend getaway and leisure, Just a 2 hours ride from Manila, and you can breath fresh and refreshing cool breezy climate. Tagaytay also offers quite a few tourist spots and attraction.





How to get there?

You can take a public transport by bus. You can find the bus at paranaque city manila at Coastal mall or at Southwest Integrated provincial bus terminal. You can choose non Air Conditioned or Air Conditioned buses, Look for bus via Nasugbu or Mendez or Tagaytay itself.They will all go in that direction. The travel time is 2 hours depending on the traffic. The cost of the bus around 120-150 pesos.

Or you can also go via a private car,I hired myself a van cos i was only going for a day out, and it took us an hour and half only, If you drive you can go via South Luzon Expressway(SLEX) or via Aguinaldo Hi-way heading to Cavite.

Things to do in tagaytay.

Taal Volcano & Lake: I was offered if I would like to visit the taal volcano from there, They said it wasn't that far but lots of climbing and I wasn't keen on going somewhere else, So i declined the offer by my driver. But you can see the Taal Volcano from there, Its beautiful.

You can go picnic and Zipline or try Horseback riding at Picnic Grove: People enjoy this place, Perfect for weekend getaway you can rent cottages and bring your own food and enjoy the cool breezy climate.

Sky Ranch Theme Park: This theme park is quite new lots of fun stuff to do in here, They have ferris wheel, Viking ride, Carousel,a lot more rides.This place is perfect for kids, and for feelings children.:)and oh this is where you can find the tallest ferris wheel in the philippines.It has 207 feet tall.Im not sure how much does it cost as i don't do ferris wheel. I might lost my spirits along the ride so better not take the risk.:)

There are still a lot more fun stuff in Tagaytay that you will surely enjoy my whole day was not enough but i wills surely will go back soon.
