How I dealt with my depression.
Depression is one of the serious problem in the world,It can damage your physical and emotional aspects,People with a depression is having a hard time to lived a life they deserves, They felt worthless, They felt not wanted by many, And they felt that they are all alone. According to medical research depression is a major clinical illness, Its a disorder that can cause a total sadness to any human being. it can affect the entire character of a person.So how do we understand and deal with depression? I myself had been suffering some mild depression that leads me not to be able sleep properly.And its not funny at all, You felt hopeless and worthless. Sometimes you have this bad thought of suicidal,Depression comes in any reason, major cause by depression is the feeling of failure.
Depression it can happen to anybody, Anyone of us, It started with anxiety and it got worse and leds into serious depression, Some people cause by losing love ones,Job’s, Financial problem and so on. People that are prone to depression are those people that having a hard time to cope with tough times. They are not weak but they are not strong enough I believe.
Here is the Sign and symptoms of depression:
A constant feeling of sadness, anxiety, and emptiness
A general feeling of pessimism sets in (the glass is always half empty)
The person feels hopeless
Individuals can feel restless
The sufferer may experience irritability
Patients may lose interest in activities or hobbies they once enjoyed
He/she may lose interest in sex
Levels of energy feel lower, fatigue sets in
Many people with a depressive illness find it hard to concentrate, remember details, and make decisions
Sleep patterns are disturbed – the person may sleep too little or too much
Eating habits may change – he/she may either eat too much or have no appetite
Suicidal thoughts may occur – some may act on those thoughts
The sufferer may complain more of aches and pains, Headaches cramps, or digestive problems. These problems do not get better with treatment.
Here are some ways to fight depression without undergoing medical drugs.
Be positive: Have a positive thought, Try to be positive, I know you felt like the world is full ug nega but dude, lots of positive for you to be thankful for.
Be happy: I know its easy said than done, But try to do so,people suffer from depression they forgot to smile, They forgot to be happy.When you try to think positive things your blood flow can alter to your brain, so whatever you think about can get things worse or it could be in total different way.Lots of things to smile and to be happy about.
Cry : Some people choose not to cry they put all the griefs inside, They forgot to weep. When you feel something so hard to cope, Cry it out, let it out, Shout it out. and after that you feel better. Im different myself I cry and let all my griefs out but alone and in a silent way. But after i cry it always feel better.
Go outside more: I admit i am homebody person, Or maybe Id rather be home. But you dont have to be in the crowd, You don’t need to see people. All you need to do is to go out and appreciate the Lord’s creation, The nature, The birds, The flowers, The trees and all the good things in our surroundings. It surely help how to dealt depression.
Exercise: Working out is one of the best way to deal depression, It will strengthen not only your physical but your thought as well.It will help increase your mood. and develop positive perspective.You don’t need a hard workout, Just go out and walk once in a while. let yourself sweats, Do some outdoor works. make yourself busy.
Meditate: I consider meditation could help to treat depression, Meditation could help your brain work normally or properly. It will create positive outlook.When you meditate, You try to empty your mind for all the negative thoughts and you are trying to replace it with all the positive things in your mind.
Diet: I consider dieting as well can help treat depression especially if you are suffering from obesity.Proper diet and good eating habits can help you for sure.
Note: I am not medical expert nor had been practicing, All what is written in here is base on my ideas and some are base on my own experiences. And I felt like it has been very effective. But at the end of the day it is all up to you how you manage yourself.
